Forgetting the password to any account is a very dreadful experience. It is no surprise that we sometimes forget the password of our accounts with the number of accounts and websites we use daily.
This is made only more complicated with some websites having password requirements making them harder to remember or having them mixed up with other passwords.
Forgetting your Facebook account and going through the process of recovering your password can be very frustrating.
However, there are ways to find and see your Facebook password in cases where you might’ve forgotten it.
Finding and seeing your password helps you completely avoid having to go through the grueling process of recovering your Facebook password.
In this article, we will discuss how to see your Facebook password in Android, Google, and iPhone.
How to See your Facebook password on Android/Google?
There are 2 methods you can try to see your password on your android phone.
First, your Facebook Password cannot be viewed on your Facebook app because having this feature compromises your security.
Anyone who can open the app with your account online can easily find and see your password.
To see your Facebook password, we have to use certain features in your phone.
Method 1. Google Account
The first method involves using the Google account you have linked to your phone.
This is because most phones have a feature that allows you to save your passwords for any accounts you logged in to your Google account.
To see your Facebook password, you first open your phone’s settings. After opening settings, look and tap on the “Google” option.
Afterward, tap on “Manage your Google Account” after opening your Google account page.
Tap on the “Security” tab found in your Google tab. Then, scroll down and tap on the “Password Manager” tab under the Security tab.
Your password manager will contain several tabs with your login information, including the username and password. Look for the Facebook tab.
Once you’ve tapped on the Facebook tab, tap on the eye icon on the password bar to reveal your password.
Doing this will show you your Facebook password saved to your Google account.
Below is a step-by-step guide on how to see your Facebook password on Android using this method.
1. Open your Phone’s Settings
Since most Android phones require you to log in to a valid Google account to use any if not all of its features, account login information is almost always saved to the Google account you used to log in with your phone.
Open your phone’s settings to access your Google account and its settings.
2. Tap on “Google” in Accounts

The option to access your Google account settings is usually found underneath an “Accounts” or a similarly named category in your settings.
This will also contain additional accounts linked to your phone, like your Microsoft email and other service accounts.
3. Tap on “Manage your Google Account”

On your Google account’s home page, tap on the “Manage your Google Account” button found directly under your account name and email.
This will allow you to access your Google account and its settings and several data pages where we will find your password manager.

This should be found underneath the “Signing in to Other Sites” category.

Your password manager will contain all login information of any websites you signed in to through your phone or the chrome web browser.
When you first sign in on a website, you would usually be prompted to save your password to your account.
For example, if you previously signed in on Facebook and saved your password, you can find your Facebook password here.
Search for the tab named “Facebook.com” or “Facebook.” Once you find it, tap on it to open it to find a page that’ll contain your account’s login credentials.
7. Reveal your Password

Once you open your account’s credential page, tap on the eye icon found in the password section to reveal it.
First, you would be asked to verify your identity by inputting your phone’s pin, password, or fingerprint. If none of these is available, you would be asked to type in your Google account’s password.
Method 2. Chrome Web Browser
The second method to view your Facebook password follows the same step as the previous method.
The only difference between the two is this method uses the Chrome browser, which is helpful for phones of the older generation which might not have the previous features implemented.
To start, open your Chrome web browser on your phone.
On the Chrome browser, tap on the three dots found in the upper right corner and then tap on “Settings.”
Afterward, tap on “Passwords” to open your password manager, similar to the previous method.
