How to Find Recently Viewed Items on Facebook Marketplace

A common practice nowadays is to buy and sell things online. Websites such as Amazon and eBay provide services to accommodate this trend.

And back in 2015, the popular social media platform Facebook released its platform called Facebook Marketplace to allow its users to buy and sell things using their website.

Facebook Marketplace offers a wide array of items you find while browsing through it, and sometimes you might find something you want to buy but don’t yet have the money.

Unfortunately, it becomes a challenge to find the same item when you have the money because it might’ve gotten buried. The best way to fix this problem is to check your recently viewed items on the Marketplace and find them from there.

Here in this article, we’ll go over how to find recently viewed items on Facebook Marketplace and how to delete your recently viewed items on the Marketplace if possible.

How to Find Recently Viewed Items on the Marketplace

You can open the Facebook Marketplace on your Facebook app by tapping on the marketplace icon on your shortcut tray ; Alternatively, you can also tap on “Menu” which the icon looks like a hamburger, and access Facebook Marketplace from there.

After opening Facebook Marketplace, you will need to open your Marketplace profile.

To do this, simply tap on the user icon found at the upper right portion of the app beside the magnifying glass (search).

Tapping on the icon will redirect you to the Marketplace profile, where you can do several things with it.

3. Scroll Down to “Buying” Category

After opening your Marketplace profile, the next thing to do is to scroll down through the list of categories and tabs.

For example, you want to find the “Buying” category, which is found and the bottom portion of the list.

The Buying category contains 3 tabs that you can open, which are Saved which contain any Marketplace listings you saved, Following which contains a list of any accounts/shops you are following on the Marketplace, and Recently Viewed, which contains a list of any items you have open and browsed through on the Facebook Marketplace.

4. Tap on “Recently Viewed” Under the “Buying” Category

After finding the Buying category, tap on “Recently Viewed” to immediately be redirected to a page containing a list of all your recently viewed items on the Facebook Marketplace.

The list is arranged chronologically where your most recent view is the first one to appear. Additionally, the items found here are kept private and secured.
